Airport Ads® celebrates its first year of exclusive media rights at Lanseria
Airport Ads®, a division of leading out of home company Provantage Media Group is celebrating the completion of its first full year of holding sole media rights for all advertising opportunities within the Lanseria International Airport precinct.
The airport, situated north of Johannesburg, serves 2 million passengers per annum, 40 000 of which are international and general aviation (chartered flights) passengers. The consumer profile is primarily upper LSM, business and leisure travellers who enjoy luxury goods. This is a golden opportunity for advertisers to reach, engage and influence this highly sought-after market segment.
Mzukisi Deliwe, Deputy CEO: Provantage Media Group and spokesperson for Airport Ads® explains that many top flight brands have harnessed the potential and value of advertising within airport precincts such as Lanseria International. “The ability to reach 2 million upper income travellers per annum holds enormous potential for advertisers. Messaging is delivered effectively with limited ‘advertising waste’ to the correct audience, and at a time when they are very receptive to brand communication.”
Within its first year, Airport Ads® has implemented highly visibly and impactful campaigns for a large number of top South African and international brands, including among others Investec, Showmax, Jaguar, BMW, Sasfin, Standard Bank, City of Ekurhuleni, Gauteng Tourism, Big Concerts, Showtime Media, Kulula, ABSA, Nedgroup Investments, Samsung, Liberty, Credit Gaurantee, and AVIS.
Airport Ads® has numerous years of expertise within the airports environment and with the high calibre personnel on both the strategic and the operational teams; the brand continues to offer exceptional and innovative branding opportunities, seamless implementation and state-of-the-art reporting.
Rampa Rammopo, CEO of Lanseria International Airport says: “We have partnered with a company that clearly understands media and that has significant expertise within the highly dynamic airport space. Airport Ads® has made a significant impact within the airport over the past twelve months and we look forward to continuing our relationship with them.”
Opportunities are available outside the terminal building, inside Domestic and International Departures and Arrivals and throughout the airport. The offering includes digital and static platforms.
“We have the ability, the expertise and the ingenuity to offer advertisers the ideal strategies and platforms to engage with a high-income consumer in this exclusive, captive environment. With dwell times of up to 2,5 hours and consumers open to brand messaging and assimilation, airport advertising delivers benefits across the board,” concludes Deliwe.
Various packages and site specific branding options are available to suit any budget or brand.
