Jacques founded Provantage in 2003 and has driven the company’s growth into one of South Africa’s most regarded out-of-home media owners. Starting from humble beginnings, the company now boasts a national infrastructure and offers marketers a variety of media platforms and services.
Jacques graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a BCom in Marketing and an MBA from the University of Hull.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Mzi is arguably the best Airport Advertising Executive in Africa. Joining Provantage in 2012, Mzi was instrumental in launching the Airport Ads division, and has grown it into the largest Airport Advertising Media Owner in South Africa. He was appointed Deputy CEO of Provantage Media Group in 2016.
Chairman
Tshego is the CEO of Agile Capital, a diversified Private Equity business with a portfolio of assets in the automotive, out-of-home media, outsourced services, mining and resources sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of Natal and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Witwatersrand. He is the Chairman of Precrete Holdings, Spilltech and Provantage Media Group. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on a number of boards.
Chief Financial Officer
Johan was appointed CFO in 2016 after having joined Provantage in 2012 as Group Financial and Commercial Director. A registered Chartered Accountant, Johan spent a number of years practicing in Ireland and Eastern Europe prior to returning to South Africa. A successful career in the pharmaceutical sector ensued, prior to him joining Provantage.
Executive Director
Since starting at Provantage Media Group in 2009, Naidu has assisted the company in making significant strides in the outdoor space. He was an integral member of the original Airport Ads® division and had full responsibility for managing and leading the Transit Ads™ business in his role as executive.
Shamendran holds an MBA from Regenesys.
Executive Director
Vaughan is a highly respected marketer with over twenty years of experience in the marketing industry. Vaughan cut his teeth in the FMCG arena before being appointed to the Provantage Board of Directors in 2004. Specialising in strategic marketing, he played a crucial role in developing the Activations Division within the business.
Marketing Manager at Cadbury Adams for 10 years before joining Provantage in 2002 and holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
Non-Executive Director
Liz holds a Bachelor of Business Science Honours degree from the University of Cape Town, a Higher Diploma in Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Liz completed her articles with Deloitte in 2008, where she served as an audit manager and later in the Corporate Finance division, specialising in due diligence reviews. Before joining Agile Capital, where she is a partner, Liz was a transactor at Kleoss Capital, where she was involved in executing a number of investments across sectors. Liz serves as a non-executive director on the boards of a number of companies. She is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.
Executive: Provantage Point of Purchase division
Dave has been part of the Out-of-Home media industry since 1995, bringing with him a wealth of expertise gained through years in both CFO and CEO roles. His deep understanding of the sector, combined with a track record of developing successful media products, has made him a driving force behind business growth and innovation in the space.
Dave holds a BCom and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of Natal and is a qualified Chartered Accountant [CA(SA)].
